INFORMATION > BECOME A 1000MILER
Only those who own a car which has taken part in the original Mille Miglia speed race (1927-1957) or one of the Mille Miglia revivals can join the MILLE MIGLIA COMMUNITY and become a 1000miler (“1000” pronounced the Italian way – “mee-lay” miler).
The MILLE MIGLIA COMMUNITY is a place for the fortunate few to honour the legend of the race, admire the beautiful cars and pick them out, one by one, in the online catalogue. Being on the roster will add to your car’s prestige.
As a 1000miler you can cultivate your own passion, meet other 1000milers who share your love for exclusive details, capable of understanding and appreciating one-of-a-kind classic cars, and enter a world which will value both the pluralism and the uniqueness of the automobiles on show.
To join the MILLE MIGLIA COMMUNITY you will have to provide documentary evidence that the car has run in Mille Miglia races or revivals, demonstrating that the car belongs to at least one of the following categories:
A – Cars that have run in the original Mille Miglia speed race (1927-1957).
B – Cars that have taken part in at least one Mille Miglia revival and are models that ran in the original Mille Miglia speed race.
C – Cars that have participated in derogation to the rules in at least one revival.
The required documentation is explained in more detail in the general provisions listed below.
Joining the Community gives 1000milers the right to take part in all of its activities and to receive benefits such as the Badge, the OBU, an apparel with the Mille Miglia name a white/gold brooch and a certificate of entry for the car. They will also be able to take advantage of the activities and areas dedicated to 1000milers and their cars at major classic car events.
